Mehfilbox vs a shared folder

Mehfilbox vs Google Drive, for an event film

Most studios deliver an event through a Drive folder or a WeTransfer link. Both move files. Neither presents an occasion, and your client can tell within the first ten seconds of opening it.

Questions people ask first

Can’t I just make the Drive folder “anyone with the link”?
You can, and it still shows a file list — FINAL_v3.mp4 — not an occasion, and it still asks a phone to download the whole file before the first frame plays. Mehfilbox streams, so playback starts in seconds regardless of file size.
What happens if Google changes a policy or the account lapses?
The link is only ever as durable as whoever owns that Drive account. A Mehfilbox catalogue is archived, not deleted, if a plan lapses — restored the moment it is paid for again, with the same address.
Do you compress the films?
Streaming renditions are transcoded so a phone starts playing quickly, the same reason any video platform does this. The original file you uploaded stays downloadable, untouched, which is the claim that actually matters for something a family keeps.
Is this just Drive with a nicer cover page?
The difference is what happens after your client opens it: chapters by ceremony or act, continue-watching, a premiere countdown, casting to a TV, fourteen languages. A folder of files does none of that no matter how it is shared.

The memories should outlive the hard drive they were cut on.

Set up your studio, upload one event, and send the link to yourself first. It takes an afternoon.
